Dr. Shannon Cunningham graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has 3 dogs (Eli, Elli and Layla), 2 cats (Wellington and Minerva), a bearded dragon (Meatball) and 2 human kids (Peyton and Addison). She enjoys softball, home design, puzzles and yard work. She is looking forward to working the rest of her career here at the Chittenden Veterinary Clinic!
Meet Chelsea, our cute and bubbly Office Manager! She always has a smile to share! She is always ready to be as helpful as possible, whether in the clinic or on the phone. She adores everyone and their pets. When she is not at work, she loves spending quality time with her daughter, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 hedgehog, and 4 fish.
Meet Maddison. She is a recent graduate of Marion Franklin High School and our Lead Veterinary Assistant. She has always loved animals. When she first started thinking about potential careers, all of them revolved around helping animals. She currently has 4 pets: two leopard geckos and 2 cats.
Meet Hannah, one of our Veterinary Assistants. She recently received her bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University. She hopes to one day be a practicing Veterinarian, working with both large and small animals. When not at the clinic, you may find her walking the metro parks in the area, spending time with her cat Frankie, or down the street at Old Fields for trivia night.
Meet Grace, one of our Veterinary Assistants. She is an undergraduate studying Zoology and Journalism at THE Ohio State University. She has always wanted to work with exotic animals and one day hopes to become a conservation veterinarian. She loves her cat and dog more than anything and is excited to help care for yours!
Meet Lisa, one of our Veterinary Assistants. She completed her bachelor's in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is now a 2nd year veterinary student at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, Lisa plans to continue working with dogs and cats. Outside the clinic, she lives with 4 lively kitties, and enjoys collecting skulls and bones of various animals for anatomical comparison.
Dr. Michael Weisel was a Veterinarian at the Chittenden Veterinary Clinic for 35 years. Although he is now retired, he still enjoys coming in from time to time to see everyone. In his spare time, he enjoys painting at his studio and skiing in the mountains of Utah.
Meet Natalie, our very first Hospital Operations Manager. She recently graduated The Ohio State University and hopes to attend a Veterinary School in the near future. She is really excited about reproduction and behavioral medicine and hopes to work with most domestic and exotic species one day. At home she tends to her 2 dogs, 5 cats, and turtle. Outside of her love of animals, Natalie spends a lot of her free time bowling and reading. She is so excited to meet your furry friends!
Meet Tessah, one of our Veterinary Assistants. She plans to attend college soon to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology and is interested in becoming an Aquatic Veterinarian in the future. Tessah loves to swim and go rock climbing her her free time and can be found spending time with her dog, Bucky.
Meet Coinne, one of our Veterinary Assistants. She recently graduated from Penta Career Center and is currently a freshman studying zoology at The Ohio State University. She hopes to one day then attend vet school. In her free time, you may find her practicing karate, reading and listening to music. She also has pet turtle that she adopted when she was 10.
