Dr. Shannon Cunningham DVM
As a proud graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, Dr. Cunningham is a dedicated veterinarian and a loving mother of two human kids, Peyton and Addison. In addition to her two-legged family members, she shares her home with a diverse and adored group of furry and scaly companions, including two dogs, Elli and Gideon, two cats, Toffee and Mitis, and a friendly bearded dragon named Meatball.
Outside of her thriving career as the owner and lead veterinarian at Chittenden Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Cunningham is a passionate softball player and a devoted coach for her daughter. She finds joy in home design and is a puzzle enthusiast, as you might notice from the puzzles adorning our clinic.
Driven by her love for yard work, she actively maintains our clinic's surroundings, reflecting her dedication to the community she serves. Dr. Cunningham is excited to spend her career serving the Chittenden community through compassionate veterinary care and unwavering commitment.
Dr. Sarah Underwood DVM
A dedicated veterinarian who graduated from St. George's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, completing her final clinic rotations at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Dr. Underwood's passion for unique creatures extends beyond the ordinary, with dragons topping her list of favorites. This love for the extraordinary is mirrored at home, where she cares for 2 pugs, 1 chug, and 3 cats.
Her journey into the world of veterinary care began at the University of Findlay, where she earned her Bachelor of Sciences in pre-veterinary medicine and biology, complemented by a minor in chemistry. A true science enthusiast, Dr. Underwood's favorite color is blue, reflecting her love for precision and depth.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Underwood finds joy in the softer side of life, indulging in the comforting world of squishmallows and pillow pets. Join her on a journey where expertise meets compassion, and every furry friend is treated with the utmost care.
